Spring Regents/Final Assessment Review Program
Instructor: Steve Breslow
Tap in to your inner creative self and express those feelings deep inside you. Our imagination can invent places of beauty and serenity, express happiness, anger or discontent, even display our nightmares. We can turn what you see and imagine into works of art, using basic drawing techniques. We will draw people and places that you see or invent. Cartooning is another way to express ourselves. We will work on these projects together, step by step, to make wonderful, wild and beautiful pictures! Tools will include pencils, pen and ink, watercolors, and we will experiment with computer art. Let your imagined worlds see the light of day, and express your innermost feelings as works of art! Taught by Steve Breslow, an experienced and exhibited graphic artist. For both beginners and experienced artists. For returning students, we have additional more difficult and creative projects to challenge your imagination!
Note: Bring a 9x12, 8x10 or 7x10 spiral bound sketch book (such as Canson Mixed Media), 2B, H, 2H and 3H drawing pencils, a 12-inch plastic ruler or T square, a white eraser, and a fine black roller marker (such as Uni Ball micro or fine).
