Bow Making for Beginners - This bow making series teaches you how to make professional caliber bows (nicer than the ones you see at big box retailers). Learn the materials, tools, design elements, proportion and techniques used and needed to assemble professional looking bows. You’ll learn how to design and make different styles and the ways that each style can be augmented to use in many different ways. You’ll design and make at least one of each style!
Session 1 - Learn about materials, design, balance and finishing and learn how to make Basic Loop Bows and Star Bows.Session 2 - Review and practice basics (from Session 1) and learn how to construct Large (Wreath) Bows using one ribbon and multiple ribbons using the hand tie method and the Bow Maker Method.*Please bring your own SHARP scissors to each class, preferably new scissors that have not cut anything yet.$15 per person materials fee due to instructor at the first session.
