Spring Regents/Final Assessment Review Program

For this fall, we have a consolidated drawing class, which combines the experiences of drawing from life with drawing from the imagination. We begin with the basic tools of drawing, line, shadow, tones, and picture space. Then we will observe the world around us, drawing people, places, pets and objects. We will continue with an exploration of our own imagination. Looking inward, we can invent places of beauty and serenity, express happiness, anger or discontent, even tap into our nightmares. We have specific and directed projects to work on, and we will be open to your own needs and ideas. We will work on these projects together, step by step, to make wonderful, wild and beautiful pictures! Tools will include pencils, pen and ink, watercolors, and a little computer art. Join us, have fun drawing together this Fall!
